(1) The Government shall within three months from the date of the Commencement of this Act, by notification, establish a Commission to be known as the 6Telangana Water Resources Regulatory Commission to perform the functions and duties assigned to it. (2) The Commission established under sub-section (1) shall be a body corporate by the name aforesaid, having perpetual succession and a common seal, with power to contract, acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable, and to do all things necessary for the purposes of this Act, and may sue or be sued by its corporate name. (3) The Commission shall consist of a Chairperson and two other members. (4) The Head Office of the Commission shall be at Hyderabad.
