(1) The authority may designate such persons as designated officers for the purposes of this Act in such manner and for such areas as may be prescribed. (2) The authority may, from time to time, appoint such other officers and servants subordinate to the designated officer, as may be required by way of deputation from Government departments, or from Universities or on contract basis. (3) The authority may also appoint such other officers to assist the State Authority in such manner and for such purposes as may be prescribed. (4) The conditions of appointment, service and the powers and duties of such officers shall be such as may be determined by the Authority.
