(1) Save as otherwise provided every salaried officer and teacher of the University shall be appointed under a written contract, and the conditions of service relating to Attendance at recognised institutions. [Act No.4 of 1991] 39 them shall, as far as possible be uniform except in respect of salaries payable to them. (2) The contract shall be lodged with the Registrar and a copy thereof shall be furnished to the officer or teacher concerned.
