(1) The University shall have such faculties as may be prescribed by Statutes. (2) Each faculty shall consist of such departments of teaching as may be prescribed by Statutes. (3) The constitution and functions of the faculties shall be prescribed by Statutes. (4) (a) There shall be Dean/Chairman for each faculty who shall be appointed by the *[Executive Council] from among the members of the faculty concerned on the recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor; (b) The terms and conditions of the office of Dean/Chairman shall be prescribed by Ordinances.
