(1) The Executive Council shall consist of the following persons, namely;- Class I – Ex-Officio Members: (i) the Vice-Chancellor; (ii) the Rector; (iii) the Secretary to Government in the Education Department or an officer in the Education Department nominated by the Government; (iv) the Secretary to Government in the Finance and Planning (Finance Wing) Department or an officer in the Finance and Planning (Finance Wing) Department nominated by the Government; (v) the Director of Higher Education / the Commissioner of Collegiate Education: Provided that in the case of Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi, the Executive Officer, Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams shall also be the Ex-Officio Member.
