Clause (hh) omitted by Act No.XL of 1956. 4 [Act No.XXI of 1950] suitable thereto as also consistent with the purpose for which it is held; and includes,- (i) the construction of tanks, wells, water channels, embankments and other works for storage, supply or distribution of water for agricultural purposes; (ii) the construction of works for the drainage of land or for the protection of land from floods or from erosion or other damage from water; (iii) the reclaiming, clearing, enclosing, levelling or terracing of land; (iv) the erection of buildings on the land required for the convenient or profitable use of such land for agricultural purposes; and (v) the renewal or reconstruction of any of the foregoing works and such alterations therein or additions thereto as are not of the nature of ordinary repairs; but does not include such clearances, embankments, levelling enclosures, temporary wells, water channals and other works as are commonly made by tenants in the ordinary course of agriculture; (j) ―Land‖ means agricultural land whether alienated or unalienated; and includes land used for purposes subservient to agriculture and all benefits arising out of such land and things thereon attached to the earth, or permanently fastened to anything attached to the earth; (k) ―Land Revenue Act‖ means 10[the Telangana Land Revenue Act, 1317 F.];
