(1) This Act may be called the 1 Telangana Sugarcane (Regulation of Supply and Purchase) Act, 1961. (2) It extends to the whole of the 1 State of Telangana. (3) It shall come into force on such date 2 as the State Government may, by notification in the Telangana Gazette, appoint and they may appoint different dates for different areas and for different provisions of this Act.
