The first Vice-Chancellor shall be appointed by the Chancellor. He shall be paid the salary, as prescribed from time to time, inclusive of pension, if any. He shall serve the University for full term as may be prescribed. The conditions of the service shall be as may be prescribed, from time to time, but shall not vary to his disadvantage after his appointment.
