(1) There shall be a District Education Fund consisting of:- (i) all the Grants received from Government; (ii) education cess collected; and (iii) donations received for the purpose of educational development in the district. (2) The fund shall be adminstered by the *[District Education Management Committee]: Provided that the salary grants shall be operated in such manner as may be prescribed.
