The Regulations shall be made by the Executive Committee and the Regulations so made may be amended repealed or added to anytime by the Governing Council. Subject to the provisions of this Act and the statutes, the Regulations may provide for all or any of the following matters:- (i) the admission of the students to the Institute and their enrollment as such; (ii) the course of study to be laid down for all degrees, diplomas and certificates of the Institute; Statutes how made. [Act No. 18 of 2008] 15 (iii) the award of degrees, diplomas, certificates and other academic distinctions, the qualifications for the same and the means to be taken relating to the granting and obtaining of the same; (iv) the fees to be charged for courses of study in the Institute and for admissions to the examinations, degrees and diplomas of the Institute; (v) the conditions of award of fellowships, scholarships, studentships, bursaries, medals and prizes; (vi) the conduct of examination; (vii) the conditions of residence of the students of the Institute; (viii) the appointment and emoluments of employees other than those for whom provision has been made in the Statutes; (ix) the establishment of Centers of Studies, Special Centers and Research Centers; (x) such other terms and conditions of service of faculty and staff as are not prescribed by the Statutes; (xi) all other matters which by this Act or the Statutes may be provided for by the Regulations.
