The Chancellor shall hold office for a term of five years. STATUTE - 2 THE VICE-CHANCELLOR 7[1. The Government shall constitute a Search Committee constisting of,- (i) a nominee of the Governing Council; (ii) a nominee of the University Grants Commission; (iii) a nominee of the State Government.
