In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) “Government” means the Government of 2Telangana; (b) “Notification” means a notification published in the 2Telangana Gazette and the word “notified” shall be construed accordingly; (c) “Society” means a society registered under the provisions of the 3Telangana Co-operative Societies Act, 1964 and includes any other society registered under the provisions of any other law providing for registration for the time being in force and functioning for implementation of the policies of the State as specified in the Schedule;
