(1)For the grant of a licence to a driver a fee shall be charged at such rate as may be prescribed. 4[Provided that no fee shall be charged for the grant of a licence to a driver of a rickshaw or a cycle rickshaw.] (2) For the renewal of licence a fee at one-third of the rate chargeable under sub-section (1) shall be charged.
