The officers and staff referred to in section 5 of the 10Telangana Excise Act, 1968 shall be deemed to be officers and staff appointed also for the purposes of giving effect to this Act and for this purpose it shall be competent for the Government to give such directions and to make such rules as they may deem fit with regard to their powers and functions.
