In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,– 3[(1) „arrack‟ means country liquor including arrack brewed, coloured, flavoured or spiced;] 4[(1A)] „buy‟ or „buying‟ includes any receipts including gift; (2) „Collector‟ means the Collector of a district and includes the joint Collector or any person appointed by the Government to exercise the powers and perform the functions of a Collector under this Act;
