(1) The Board may appoint such officers and employees as may be required to enable the Board to carryout its functions under this Act in such manner as may be prescribed. (2) The Board may, from time to time, appoint qualified persons in the fields of Prison Administration, Medicine, Architecture, Engineering, Social Work, Sociology, Industrial Management and the like, to be consultants to the Board as it may consider necessary for the efficient performance of its Meetings of the Board.
