(1) This Act may be called 2[the Telangana Prevention of Fragmentation and Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1956.] (2) It extends to the whole of 2the State of Telangana. (3) This section shall come into force at once and the remaining provisions of this Act shall come into force in such area and from such date as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf, and different dates may be appointed for the coming into force of different provisions of this Act.
