(1) This Act may be called the Telangana Police (Selection and Appointment of Director General of Police (Head of Police Force)) Act, 2018. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Telangana. (3) It shall come into force with effect from the date of publication of the Act in the Telangana Gazette.
