(1) This Act may be called 1 [the Telangana Payment of Taxes (Transfer of Property) Act, 1951]. (2) It extends to the whole of 1 [the State of Telangana]. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may by notification in the 2 [Official Gazette] appoint in this behalf.
