(1) A meeting of the Gram Panchayat shall be held atleast once in a month in the manner prescribed. (2) Save as otherwise provided by or under this Act, every meeting of a Gram Panchayat shall be presided by Sarpanch, in his absence by the Upa-Sarpanch and in the Meetings of the Gram Panchayat and presidency at the meetings. [Act No.5 of 2018] 63 absence of both Sarpanch and Upa-Sarpanch, by a member chosen by the meeting to preside for occasion. (3) All decisions and resolutions of the Gram Panchayat shall be taken by majority of the Members including Sarpanch.
