(1) The Dean of Students Affairs shall be a whole time officer and shall be appointed by the Board in the manner prescribed. (2) The salary and allowances payable to the Dean of Students Affairs shall be as may be prescribed. (3) The Dean of Students Affairs shall have the following duties namely:- (a) to make arrangements for the housing of students; (b) to arrange a programme of student counselling; (c) to arrange for the employment of students in accordance with the plans approved by the Vice-Chancellor; Powers and duties of the Registrar and the Comptroller exercisable by a single person.
