In this Act unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,- (a) “Council” means the 1 [ 2 [Telangana] Nurses, Midwives, Auxiliary Nurse-midwives and Health Visitors Council] established under this Act; (b) 3 [XXX] (c) 'Nurse' includes a male nurse; (d) 'Prescribed' means 'prescribed by rules or bye-laws made under this Act'; (e) 'Register' means 'a register' maintained under section 5 3 [XXX] and 'registered' means registered in accordance with the provisions of 1 [that section.]
