The State Government may at any time either suo motu or on application, call for and examine the record of any order passed by, or any procecdings recorded by, any officer or person under this Act, for the purpose of satisfying themselves as to the legality or propriety of such order or as to the regularity of such proceedings, and may pass such orders in reference thereto as they think fit.
