In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) ‘Acronym’ means a word formed from the initial letters of a phrase; (b) ‘Government’ means the Government of Telangana; (c) “Law” means and includes any enactment, ordinance, regulation, order, bye-law, rule, scheme, notification or other instrument, etc., made, adapted, enacted by the State Legislature and in force in the State of Telangana; (d) “notification” means, a notification published in the Telangana Gazette and the expression ‘notified’ shall be construed accordingly.
