The Tahsildar may distrain and sell the defaulter‟s movable property. Such distraint shall be made by officers or clerks appointed by him for this work. 153[120. The 154[Collector] or the 155[Deputy or Assistant 156[XXX] Collector] may distrain the defaulter‟s immovable property, other than the land held by him, but where such distrain has been made by the order of the 155[Deputy or Assistant Collector] it shall not be sold except with the sanction of 154[Collector].
