When the produce of any land is wholly or partly sold, mortgaged, or otherwise disposed of, whether by order of a Court or other competent department or with the desire of the land holder, the 145[Collector] may prevent such produce being removed until the land revenue for the current year has been paid, though the date for the prescribed instalment has yet not arrived. But in no case shall a produce or a portion of the produce, which, has been sold, mortgaged or disposed of, be detained on account of land revenue of a period exceeding one year.
