(1) The term of office of the members of the shop council, factory council and enterprise council shall be for a period of two years from the date of constitution of such council: Provided that the members of the council shall continue to hold the office till a new council is reconstituted. (2) A member of the council nominated to fill up a casual vacancy shall hold office for the remaining period of the term of office.
