The Board may, with the previous approval of the Government, make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act and the rules made thereunder, to provide for all or any of the following matters, namely:- (a) the administration of the funds and other property of the Board and the maintenance of its accounts; (b) the summoning and holding of meetings of the Board and the times and places at which such meetings shall be held, and the conduct of business thereat and the number of Directors necessary to constitute a quorum; (c) the duties of officers and employees of the Board and their salaries, allowances and other conditions of service; (d) the fine which may be imposed for the breach of any bye-law, which may extend to one thousand rupees, and in case of continuing breach with the additional fine which may extend to one hundred rupees for every day, during which Power of Board to make regulations. [Act No. 15 of 1989] 55 the breach continues after receipt of a notice from the Board to discontinue the breach; (e) the procedure to be followed by the Board in inviting, considering and accepting tenders; and (f) any other matter arising out of the Board‟s functions under this Act, in which it is necessary or expedient to make regulations.
