(1) Without the permission of the Board the Public Health Engineer incharge of water supply or any other officer authorised by the Board in this behalf, no building, wall or other structure shall be newly erected and no street shall be laid over any water main belonging to the Board. (2) If any building, wall or other structure be so erected or any street be so laid, the Public Health Engineer incharge of water supply or any other officer authorised by the Board in this behalf may cause the same to be removed or otherwise dealt with as he deems fit and the expenses thereby incurred shall be paid by the persons contravening the provisions of sub-section (1).
