(1) The Metropolitan Development Authority may by resolution direct that any power exercisable by it under this Act or rules or regulations made thereunder may also be exercised by any Metropolitan Development Authority or local body or officer or the Government or any other body, in such cases and subject to such condition, if any, as may be specified therein. (2) The Government may, by notification, direct that any power exercisable by the Government or the Power to delegate. [Act No.8 of 2008] 51 Metropolitan Development Authority under this Act, except the power to make rules or regulations, may be exercised by any local body or officer of the Government or any other body, in such cases and subject to such conditions, if any, as may be specified therein.
