(1) As soon as may be, after the date of commencement of this Act, the Government may, by notification constitute the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority for the Hyderabad Metropolitan region notified under section 3. (2) The Metropolitan Development Authority,- (i) shall be a body corporate and shall have perpetual succession and a common seal; and (ii) subject to such restrictions imposed by or under this Act, may sue or be sued in its corporate name. (3) The Metropolitan Development Authority shall consist of the following members:- (i) The Chief Minister of 8Telangana, who shall be the Chairman;
