Whoever in any street or public place begs alms, or directs or permits, children in his care to beg alms or expose to the public an ulcer, wound or ailment or physical deformity, with intent to receive alms or to force any person to give alms, shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one month or with fine which may extend to fifty rupees or with both.
