(1) If a person is elected by more than one #[ward] he shall, by notice in writing signed by him and delivered to the Commissioner within the prescribed time, choose any one of the #[wards] which he shall serve and the choice shall be final. (2) When any such choice has been made the #[ward] or the #[wards] other than the #[ward] which such person has chosen to serve shall be called upon to elect another person or persons. (3) If the candidate does not make the choice referred to in sub-section (1), the election of such person shall be void and all the #[wards] concerned shall be called upon to elect another person or persons. 128[68.
