No person shall, without lawful authority, take away or wilfully break, throw down or damage — (a) any lamp, lamp-post or lamps-iron set up in any public street or municipal garden, or in any open space, markets or building vesting in the Corporation; (b) any electric wire for lighting any such lamp; (c) any post, pole, standard, stay, strut, bracket or other contrivance for carrying, suspending or supporting any such electric wire or lamp; (d) any property of the Corporation in any street; and no person shall wilfully extinguish the light or damage the appurtenance of any such lamp.
