[Act No.12 of 1993] 15 26[(2) The powers of the nature referred to in sub- section (1) may also be exercised by such officer as may be empowered in this behalf by the Government.] (3) All searches under this section shall be made in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
