The Commissioner, the Collector or the $[District Prohibition and Excise Officer] may, by order delegate to any officer subordinate to him any of the powers conferred on or functions entrusted to the Commissioner, the Collector, or the $[District Prohibition and Excise Officer] by or under this Act, subject to such restrictions and control as may be prescribed, and subject also to such limitations and conditions, if any as be specified in the order of delegation. $. Throughout the Act, for the words “Prohibition and Excise Superintendent” the words “District Prohibition and Excise Officer” substituted vide. Act No.32 of 2017.
