Omitted by Act No.17 of 1985. 8 [Act No. 11 of 1982] (q) to institute and manage- (i) a Department of Publications; (ii) a University Press; (iii) an Employment Bureau; (iv) an Information Bureau; (v) Boards of University Extension; (vi) Guidance and Counselling Centres and such other organisations created by it; 18[(r) to co-operate, collaborate or associate with any other University, authority or institution of learning in such manner and for such purposes as the University may determine;] (s) generally to do all such other acts and things whether incidental to the powers aforesaid or not, as may be necessary or desirable to further the objects of the University as to cultivate and promote arts, fine arts sciences, professional studies, technology and other branches of learning and to promote the interest of its students; (t) to supervise and control the conduct and discipline of the students of the University and to make arrangements for promoting general welfare.
