(1) No Police officer shall be empowered to withdraw himself from the duties of his office, unless expressly allowed to withdraw by the District Superintendent or by some other officer having such an authority. (2) No Police officer shall, without the permission of the District Superintendent, resign his office, unless he shall have given to his superior officer two months‟ previous notice in writing of his intention to resign.
