The Government may make rules for carrying out the purposes of this Act. Such rules shall, inter alia, relate to the following matters:- (a) procedure which the Magistrates and Police officers shall adopt in the execution of their duties they have been charged with by virtue of this Act; (b) with regard to claims for compensation preferred under section 14 determining the period within which, the manner in which, and the conditions under which they shall be preferred and the particulars which shall be stated in such claims and the mode in which they shall be verified and the nature of the inquiry which shall be made into or other action which shall be taken with regard to the same.
