When any land is required whether within or without the area subject to the jurisdiction of a Board, for the purposes of this Act, the Government may on the request of the Board proceed to acquire it under the provisions of the Hyderabad Land Acquisition Act, 1309 F., and on payment by the Board of the compensation awarded under that Act, and of any other charges incurred by the Government in connection with the acquisition, the land shall vest in the Board. Such acquisition shall be deemed to be acquisition for a public purpose within the meaning of the said Act.
