The Vice-President shall- (a) in the absence of the President preside at the meetings of the Board; (b) exercise such of the powers and perform such of the duties of the President as the President, from time to time, may delegate to him; and Functions of the Vice-President. 34 [Act No.I of 1956] (c) pending the election of a President, or during the absence of the President on leave, exercise the powers and perform the duties of the President.
