Any person who has been convicted under section 171-E or 171-F of the Indian Penal Code, or has been disqualified from exercising any electoral right for a period of not less than six years on account of illegal or corrupt practices in connection with an election, shall, for four years from the date of such conviction or disqualification, be disqualified from voting at an election to or being a member of a Board.
