(1) Every Marriage Officer shall keep in the prescribed form a Register of Marriages for the registration area or any part thereof in relation to which he exercises jurisdiction. (2) The Registrar General shall cause to be printed and supplied sufficient number of registers for making entries of Penalty for neglecting to comply with the provisions of sections 8 and 9 or for making false statement in memorandum.
