Remodified by G.O.Ms.No.56, Agriculture and Cooperation (Coop- II) Department, dated 28.05.2016. 152 [Act No.7 of 1964] 289[CHAPTER XIII-B SPECIAL PROVSIONS APPLICABLE TO CO-OPERATIVE CREDIT SOCIEITIES IDENTIFIED UNDER REVIVAL PACKAGE. 115-C. In this Chapter unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) ‗Co-operative Credit Society‘ means the Telangana Co-operative Bank (TCOB), the District Co-operative Central Bank (DCCB) and the Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society (PACS). A Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society includes Farmers Service Co-operative Society (FSCS), Co-operative Rural Bank (CRD), Large Sized Co-operative Society (LSCS) or any other Co-operative Credit Society primarily dealing with agricultural credit at primary level included under the Revival Package and other similar relief measures offered by the Government of India from time to time; (b) ‗NABARD‘ means the National Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development established under the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Act, 1981; (c) ‗Scheduled Area‘ means such areas as the President may by order declare to be Scheduled Area (under Fifth Schedule to Article 244(1) of the Constitution of India); (d) All other expressions used in this chapter but not defined shall have the same meaning respectively assigned to them in section 2 of the Act, and the rules made thereunder.
