(1) Government may, for the purpose of this Act, constitute as many Tribunals as it may think fit, for the determination of any dispute, question or the matter relating to a Charitable Institution, Dharmadayam, Religious Charity, Religious Endowments, Religious Institution or any Institution as defined in the Act and also define the local limits and jurisdiction of each of such Tribunals. (2) Where any application is made relating to any property of the institution which falls within the territorial limits of the jurisdiction of two or more Tribunals, such application may be made to the Tribunal within the local limits of whose jurisdiction the Head Office or the main institution is located and where any such application is made to the Tribunal aforesaid, the other Tribunal or Tribunals having jurisdiction shall not entertain any application for the determination of such dispute, question or other matter. (3) The Tribunal shall consist of a Chairman and one other member to be appointed by the Government. (4) The Chairman shall be a person who is or has been a judicial officer not below the rank of a District Judge and a member shall be a person, who holds or has held a post not below the rank of Additional Commissioner of Endowments. (5) The Government may, from time to time, likewise reconstitute any Tribunal constituted under sub-section (1) or may abolish such Tribunal. Constitution of Endowments Tribunal.
