(1) The Government may by notification in the Telangana Gazette, make rules to carry out the purposes of this Act. (2) Without projudice to the generality of the foregoing power, such rules may provide for- Exemptions. Executive authorities of local bodies to furnish certified extracts from property tax assessment books. Landlord and tenant to furnish particulars. Penalties. Power to make rules. 34 [Act No.XV of 1960] (a) all matters expressly required or allowed by this Act to be prescribed; (b) the procedure to be followed by Controllers and appellate authorities in the performance of their functions under this Act; (c) the manner in which notices and orders under this Act shall be given or served; (d) setting aside ex-parte orders passed under this Act; (e) applications for making legal representatives of deceased persons, parties to proceedings under this Act and time within which such applications shall be preferred; (f) the procedure to be followed in taking possession of a building and in disposing of the articles found therein at the time of taking possesson; (g) the fee leviable in respect of applications and appeals under this Act; and (h) any other matter for which there is no provision or no sufficient provision in this Act and for which provision is, in the opinion of the Government, necessary for giving effect to the purposes of this Act. (3) In making a rule under this section, the Government may provide that a person who contravenes any of the provisions thereof shall be punishable with fine which may extend to two thousand rupees. (4) All rules made under this section shall, as soon as may be after they are made, be laid on the Table of both the Houses of the State Legislature for fourteen days and shall [Act No. XV of 1960] 35 be subject to such modification, whether by way of repeal or amendment, as the State Legislature may make during the session in which they are so laid.
