(1) No suit, prosecution or other legal proceedings shall lie against any officer for anything done under this Act in good faith or for any damage to property caused by any action taken in good faith in carrying out the provisions of this Act. Institution of prosecutions or other legal proceedings under the Act. [Act No.III of 1919] 13 (2) No prosecution under this Act shall be commenced without the previous sanction of the District Collector. (3) No prosecution under this Act shall be commenced after six months from the date of the alleged offence.
