The Central Government may, for the purposes of this Act, by order published in the Official Gazette, constitute a 82U[x x x x] Wildlife Crime Control Bureau consisting of-- (a) the Director of Wildlife Preservation--Director ex-officio; (b) the Inspector-General of Police--Additional Director; (c) the Deputy Inspector-General of Police--Joint Director; (d) the Deputy Inspector-General of Forests--Joint Director; (e) the Additional Commissioner (Customs and 82V[Central Goods and Services Tax])--Joint Director; and (f) such other officers as may be appointed from amongst the officers covered under sections 3 and 4 of this Act.] Inserted by Act 39 of 2006 (w.e.f. 04/09/2006). Substituted by Act No. 18 OF 2022, dt.20/12/2022 (w.e.f. 01/04/2023).
