Section 24

Chief Administrative Officer to exercise powers through Collectors, etc.,

(1) Subject to the provisions of this Act and of the rules made thereunder, the Chief Administrative Officer may,- (a) exercise all or any of the powers conferred on him by or under this Act with the previous approval of the Board through the Collector of the District in which the concerned trust or endowment is situated or through any other responsible officer whom the Collector may appoint for such purpose; (b) delegate, from time to time, any of his power to any Collector or any such officer appointed by him; and (c) revoke at any time the delegation so made by him. (2) Where any delegation of powers is made by the Chief Administrative Officer under subsection (1), the person to whom such delegation is made, may exercise those powers in the same manner and to the same extent, as if they have been conferred on him directly by this Act and not by way of delegation.
