In section 12 of the principal Act,-- (I) in sub-section (4),- (a) for the expression "while undergo~ng the sentence", the expression "while the sentence is in force" shall be substituted; (6) for the expression "five years", the expressiorr "six years" shall be substituted; (2) in sub-section (5), for the expression "five years", the expression "six years" shall be substituted; (3) after sub-section (7, the following sub-section shall be added, namely:- "(8) If the Tamil Nadu Skte Election Commission is satisfib: that a person,- Short title and commencement.
